Brad L. Berman
Brad L. Berman, Esq. has over 35 years of experience practicing law. He is admitted to the bars of the U.S. States of Connecticut, New York and Florida, as well as various U.S. Federal Courts and the Court of International Trade.
He is the former President of LISCR LLC, the Liberian International Ship and Corporate Registry and started his career in management consulting for EY.

A. Tyson Arnedt

A. Tyson Arnedt has 30 years’ experience in the investment fund and investment advisory industry as an attorney and senior business executive. In these roles Mr. Arnedt has worked with and for U.S, and international banks, law firms, brokerage firms, hedge funds, fund of funds, mutual funds investment advisers, and operating companies. Mr. Arnedt began his career as an attorney in private practice in New York and has held a variety of senior legal, operations, marketing, and compliance roles, and has also been a consultant to a wide variety of firms in the broader investment industry.
He holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Georgetown University Law Center and an Artium Baccalaureus degree from Hamilton College, and is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York.

Hilary Spilkin
Of Counsel
Hilary Spilkin began her legal career as an Advocate to the Supreme Court of South Africa with a postgraduate degree in South African Tax Law, where she litigated in various corporate and tax matters.
​
Hilary has occupied legal consulting positions in various aspects of offshore tax and trust work in London, Tel Aviv, San Diego and Miami; in Miami she spent a period in the financial services industry with a major global banking institution focusing on banking and regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering. Hilary has also held several Board positions of various international corporations
For the past several years, she has headed the Liberian Corporate Registry and created and headed the OFAC and Sanctions Department of the Ship and Corporate Registry. In addition, Hilary advised the Liberian Government on legal and corporate matters, and corporate governance.

Hilary has been a guest speaker at several offshore tax and corporate conferences and has authored several articles published in legal journals and textbooks.

Hilary holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Higher Diploma in Tax Law (HDip.Tax) from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, and Masters in Tax Law (LLM summa cum laude) from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law (San Diego) and holds admission to the California State Bar.

Hilary routinely advises private and publicly listed companies on various international legal matters, international corporate and tax structuring of multinational corporations with concentration in the maritime industry and international corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
Eric Tröels Wiberg
Of Counsel
Eric Wiberg is a licensed US Merchant Marine Captain for the last 25 years and is a member of the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for Massachusetts since 2005.
He has boarded over 400 vessels, operated 100 others, and overseen 100 tanker voyages from a chartering desk of a US publicly traded company in Singapore.
Eric has experience in tankers, bulkers, tugs, salvage, mailboars and yachts and has published over 40 books on maritime, aviation and World War II history and nearly 1,000 articles, and addressed audiences internationally, and appeared on film, TV, radio and podcasts (www.ericwiberg.com).
Eric grew up in The Bahamas and is a citizen of the US and Sweden; he holds a Bachelor in Arts degree from Boston College, a Juris Doctorate Degree from Roger Williams Law School in Rhode island, USA and a Masters in Arts on Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island.

Patrick I. Oyakhare

Patrick I. Oyakhare, Esq. began his legal career as an attorney in the Federal Republic of Nigeria and is admitted as an attorney and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and the state of Texas, USA.
He holds an LLM degree (with a concentration on Corporate, Commercial and Trade law) from the University of Illinois in the United States, a Barrister at Law degree from The Nigerian Law School and an LLB degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria.
Patrick speaks English, Hausa, Yoruba and Afemai and has an Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.
